We want to ensure that our website can be easily used by people with disabilities. That's why we're working to make our website as accessible as possible.

Legal Framework

Since 28 June 2025, the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) has been in effect in Germany, which implements the European Directive on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services (European Accessibility Act, EAA – Directive EU 2019/882) into national law.

As a microenterprise (fewer than ten employees and annual turnover of no more than 2 million euros), we are exempt from the statutory accessibility obligations for services under § 2 para. 3 BFSG. However, we take this topic seriously and are voluntarily working on a more accessible website.

Our Goal

We are working to implement the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Conformance Level AA as far as possible. We are currently revising our website and integrating accessibility improvements.

Current Status

The current version of our website still has some accessibility shortcomings. We are aware of these and they are being addressed in our ongoing revision. Planned improvements include:

• Sufficient color contrast between text and background
• Text alternatives (alt texts) for all informative images
• Clear and consistent heading structure
• More understandable and accessible forms
• Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements

After completing the revision, an independent audit to verify WCAG 2.1 AA conformance is planned.
